Pro Sports, a leading manufacturer of saltwater fishing boats offers a
wide range of power catamarans and mono-hulls ranging in size from 18-
to 37 ft. In early 2004, their engineering team designed a mid-size,
monohull sportfisherman that has already been dubbed ‘an unbelievable
success story.’ However, overwhelming feedback from the field indicated
offshore enthusiasts wanted a center console version of this great
design.
Since outstanding fishing boats take time to engineer specifically for serious anglers, Pro Sports is thrilled entering 2005 by unveiling the all new 3000 Blue Water center console.
The 3000BW is one of the best designed ‘go-fast’ thirty footers on the market today. A centerline length of close to 31 feet coupled with a whopping 11 foot beam stand out as key characteristics for an awesome fishing machine that is loaded to the gills with a broad range of standard features and make-sense amenities.
The hull is a deep-V design, allowing for a gentle ride under just about all rough water conditions. Like its sister ship, the 3000 Sportfish, the all new 3000 Blue Water, when outfitted with a pair of 225 four stroke outboards, will provide instantaneous response, great fuel economy and a minimal noise level, all resulting in an efficient, safe, and unbelievably comfortable ride. The 3000 Blue Water has great lines with a huge aft deck housing over 40 square feet of unobstructed fish fighting deck space. The huge cockpit, surrounded by almost waist high bolsters allows multiple anglers ample room to maneuver during double and triple hook ups.
You will be impressed with the diamond non-skid deck and horizontal surfaces which provide safe maneuverability around the entire vessel. When it comes to making the most of available space, the entire deck layout of the 3000 Blue Water is extremely well thought out for a boat this size. The transom door makes entry and exit a breeze, and also doubles as a convenient way to pull that 300 pound swordfish aboard! The open design of the cockpit area makes moving around the deck both fore and aft a cinch.
Two oversized fish boxes in the aft deck make it easy to quickly slip those smoker kingfish and gaffer size dolphin on ice. These in-deck boxes also double as additional storage compartments for extended island journeys. In addition, there is another 105 gallon multi-purpose box forward of the console that is ideal for dry storage, or can be used as a third fishing box if you’re inclined to fish from the bow.
Along with all these outstanding features, as soon as you lay your eyes on this beauty what stands out most is the technologically advanced, state-of-the-art design of the massive center console. This helm station is something to behold. The entire helm is protected by a handsome wrap around wind screen. The low-profile dash provides ample mounting space for all your gauges, navigation, fish-finding, communication and entertainment equipment. All are enclosed in a see through cover which provides easy access and additional protection against the elements.
The tackle station aft of the console coupled with an enormous 55 gallon live-well make her ready for serious tournament competition. The two tackle stations have plenty of lockable storage space for all your expensive lures and gear.
The full size rigging station with large cutting surface and fresh water sink is another standard amenity that makes perfect sense. A soft top with a six rod rocket launcher and overhead electronic box for housing additional navigation and communication equipment is also standard equipment. A custom hard top with rod holders and retractable outriggers is optional, though definitely worth the additional investment. Back to the state-of-the-art console which is really the centerpiece of this awesome fishing machine. Strategically designed, the huge console easily houses the standard porta-potti or optional electric head, and there is plenty of room to store a truck load of equipment, accessories and expensive rod and reel combos.
Another key feature of the 3000 Blue Water is the abundance of seating. There is a two man bench in front of the console and two observation jump seats facing aft to the rear of the tackle station. It doesn’t stop there as a full size bow cushion is standard, allowing for comfortable seating for several more passengers up front. Plus, an additional bench mounted on the transom easily sits two more. And let’s not forget the custom captain’s bench seat which has three convertible seats so each passenger can select a wrap around or leaning post configuration. That’s comfortable seating for 12!
The fore deck is finished with non-skid and between the heavy duty aluminum bow rail and the surrounding frame of the T-Top there is plenty to hold on to in bouncy seas. A final addition is the absolutely unique remote pump station that makes accessing all onboard pumps as easy as 1-2-3.
